Capturing sharp, clear images is an essential part of making high-quality photo IDs and travel documents. The EDIsecure^® CCD 7000 Image Capture Module provides focused high-end pictures. The cutting-edge Sony sensor results in true colors and unrivalled image sharpness. Particular emphasis was placed on the ease of use. The camera automatically takes care of focus, white balance, gain control and back-light compensation. Settings for different conditions can be selected and saved for rapid, hassle-free image capturing.

The camera utilizes software-driven functionality that lets you capture perfect images without ever touching the camera. The software application independent direct camera interface incorporates several advanced features, such as high-res live video for preview, mouse controlled zooming as well as portrait and landscape mode. The EDIsecure^® CCD 7000 Image Capture Module is provided with its own driver.

For capturing even in a difficult environment with unpredictable or changing light conditions, the camera is equipped with a professional LED Ring Flash. This module provides for a shadow-free capture result. The powerful LED lights with zero wait time are triggered by the camera and provide up to 20,000 hours turn on time with full energy, thus ensuring interruption free image capturing.
