Personalized data must be protected against tampering and counterfeiting, and complex, expensive credentials require longer life cycles for usage. Applying a laminate to the card surface can provide protection that extends the lifetime of the document significantly, and can include additional overt and covert security authentication features.

We offer different lamination materials that increase visual card security as well as protect the surface against physical damage. For applications that demand a higher level of security, we provide additional laminate options suitable to each situation.

We offer the largest patch sizes in the industry, with our jumbo patches providing the most laminated area coverage, reducing the unprotected boarder and significantly increasing the cards security and durability.

Our chip cut-out patch solutions are compliant with the three existing ISO-standard contact chip shapes, which gives you the advantage of using only one patch for the surface protection of multiple chip card types.

Our EDIsecure^® lamination materials are also available with magnetic stripe cut-out.

The EDIsecure^® Overlamination Program contains the following products:

• Thin OVD Overlay Ribbon (edgeless laminating)
• 0.5 mil Clear Patch Ribbon (ISO chip cut-out)
• 0.5 mil OVD Patch Ribbon (ISO chip cut-out)
• 1.0 mil Clear Patch Ribbon (ISO chip cut-out)
• 0.6 mil Registered Holographic Patch Ribbon with generic 2-D Design “Globes”
• 0.6 mil Holographic Patch Ribbon with generic 2-D Design “Waves”

With a one-time investment, customized holographic designs can be produced from simple artwork created by the customer. Generic materials can also be provided, including our attractive high-resolution designs.

Every batch of laminate product is tested for adhesion, lamination speed, temperature and dimensions.
