Gerd Schaefer is a member of the Company’s executive board. Following completion of his vocational training is an industrial business manager he worked in the business imaging systems division of Kodak AG, Stuttgart, in several functions including, among, others, that of a market specialist and head of sales services from 1972 through 1984. In 1986 Gerd Schaefer became a project manager and, as of 1986, in his capacity as head of marketing built up for Kodak its business segment of electronic display technologies. In 1987 he was appointed head of electronic information systems division. From such date onwards he dealt with electronic image processing systems and digital personal identification. In 1992 Gerd Schaefer was assigned responsibility for this business in the whole of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Such responsibility was extended to the entire Eastern hemisphere as of 1993. Starting 1995 Mr. Schaefer served as general manager of the identification and security systems division of Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, United States of America, where he built up the electronic identification business in the Asia/Pacific area. Within a management buyout Gerd Schaefer formed Digital Imaging International GmbH in 1998 whose managing director he was until September 2003. As of 1 October 2003, in his capacity as managing shareholder, initiated today’s Digital Identification Solutions AG where he has served as chairman of the executive board since the transformation of the Company into a stock corporation.

Tassilo Mayer is the Company’s executive board member responsible for finance. Following the completion of his studies of business administration at the London School of Economics Tassilo Mayer served a strategic controller at Wienerberger AG in Vienna, Austria, from 1995 to 1997. Between 1997 and 2001 he was a vice president in the equity research department of the investment bank Credit Suisse First Boston in London, United Kingdom. In 2001 Tassilo Mayer took over the management of the consulting firm GCMG Ltd., London. From July 2003 to 2005 he has served as the executive board member responsible for finance at FJD Information Technologies AG, Munich. Since 1 January 2006 Tassilo Mayer has been employed by Digital Identification Solutions AG and was on 16 February 2006 appointed to the executive board.
